This product contains whey protein. Was the whey protein produced without animal rennet?

The product has a V-Label certificate. The recipe and the raw materials have therefore been checked by Swissveg for suitability for vegetarians and vegans and classified as ovo-lacto-vegetarian. According to the producer, no animal rennet was used in the production of the whey protein.
