The store finder is really cool! One feature that I would find great: a search function that shows where I can find product xy in the selected store, i.e. with an overview map of the individual stores. That would be very helpful if you ever go shopping in a new Migros!

yes, i would have liked something like that.
but i have doubts that this can be realized. as often as the migros stores are rearranged, at least that's how it seems to me, half an army of employees would have to mutate data in order to always have up-to-date and usable data. it could be difficult to finance these people, or migros decides to rearrange the stores less often - which would suit me ;-)

@ hewedroid : similar thoughts have also crossed my mind. And where should the search functions be placed ?- on the shopping cart or should it be some kind of iPhone gadget - where you are then hit at every corner because all the coordination in the brains of these shoppers no longer works ...
There are very few products that are not where you would expect them to be. I always ask the M staff and they all know without exception! You even get the reason - the why - it's usually products that are bought together.

unfortunately i can't share your experiences with the helpfulness of the staff in every store. in glattzentrum (ZH) it's a rarity when the staff think for themselves. it can happen that a watermelon weighing several kilos is carelessly rolled into the shopping compartment at the checkout WITHOUT slowing it down, even though the last item scanned at the checkout was a carton of eggs - and, as expected, not all the eggs survived. remark from the cashier - "oops". it should also be mentioned that i deliberately put the watermelon on the conveyor belt BEFORE the carton of eggs!!!!
my experience at the branch in Hinwil is 100% in line with your description. helpful, friendly and always in a good mood. even at peak times (just before closing time) you can sometimes hear a joke. this branch is simply very likeable.
