Milk and butter prices too low!

Prix du lait et du beurre trop bas!!

Hello, I'm outraged by the low price of milk and butter, and the ensuing imports (to compensate for these low prices and reduced supply)! Farmers are struggling to survive, and this also discourages young people from becoming farmers! What's more, they're the ones who keep our beautiful Swiss landscape in shape! I'm convinced that consumers are more than willing to pay more for these Swiss raw materials (at least I am). I don't understand your policy of always lowering milk and butter prices, and compensating with imports! I'm sure that consumer demands and profits are important to you, but at the cost of so many sacrifices to local agriculture (see link below)! Can you explain your policy in this area? I'm disappointed and very surprised that Migros isn't reacting to this major problem in Switzerland, and that it's still going on! This is not the image I had of Migros. Hello @Lavi8 Migros will be offering all its drinking milks (except Organic and Demeter) in theIP-SUISSE meadow milk version throughout Switzerland. This is a further strengthening of the long-standing collaboration, and a clear recognition by both partners of the importance of sustainable agriculture in Switzerland. In return for their additional efforts to promote sustainable agriculture, meadow milk producers will receive a label premium of 5 centimes per kg of milk, in addition to the market price paid by the milk buyer. Following this change, Migros will market around 110 million kilos of meadow milk. A great success for IP-SUISSE and its producers, but also for all consumers in Switzerland. Best regards Sebastian
