why are only price reductions ever widely publicized in the migros media and why are price increases almost always concealed?
we consumers also have a right to know when migros prices are increased and why!

@manolo,

actually, it's not really effective advertising to communicate price increases ... But sometimes Migros should perhaps also use the tear gland so that the customer understands their actions.

The issue was raised more than a year ago:

Greetings Istanbul

Hello manolo

Thank you for your message. Migros communicates price increases in the Migros Magazine in the "Price Barometer" section. The "Price Barometer" contains a table showing the product name, the old and new price and the change as a percentage. If you become a Migros Cooperative member, you will receive the Migros magazine every week free of charge. Becoming a cooperative member is also free and is very easy to do online: http: //www.migros.ch/de/ueber-die-migros/genossenschafter/genossenschafter-werden.html.

as i said, i have been a member of the migros cooperative for over 40 years. so you don't need to enlighten me!
the "price barometer" section is just a gag!
the few products that are listed there do not correspond to the entire range of surcharges! in my opinion, the most relevant surcharges that cost money are not listed!

And since the prices are no longer printed on the products, it's even easier to raise prices. Nobody notices...

In this matter, I am a pragmatist and a realist: this is done more or less everywhere, in every company and all over the world!
