The time before last when I bought sour cream, it cost CHF 2.60. The last time, which was last Monday, the sour cream had a wonderful new pack and it said "aha! Aha, I thought to myself, something has changed. Crème fraîche is now lactose-free. No, it's not. It's still exactly the same product as before when I compare the nutritional information. Migros is once again taking the piss out of consumers. It repackages a product, tricks the consumer into believing something "new" that was exactly the same before and then charges CHF 2.95 instead of CHF 2.60. That's a mark-up of 13.46% for nothing at all. I do not assume that this mark-up is paid to the producer (farmer). Rather, Migros, which is always boasting about what it has supposedly made permanently cheaper, is probably pocketing this surcharge. Dear Migros, what you are doing is an unparalleled cleverness.
