I would welcome the inclusion of Powerrade and possibly the discontinuation of Gatorade. The Powerrade flavors (especially blue) are more popular and available almost everywhere... except in Migros.
I would also welcome it if Zero variants were to come onto the market. Since they are available abroad...
Unfortunately, the retail sector in Switzerland and Europe is changing rapidly. Borders that used to exist are no longer a reason for many people not to shop there. That's why 10 million people are now moving abroad.
The discounters in Switzerland are doing a good job, Lidl a little better in my opinion, but no longer with the same aggressiveness as before. Protein, gluten-free, lactose-free, fat-free, plastic-free, environmentally friendly, innovative, own-brand giant... and Migros faces other challenges...
Coop has of course also stepped on the gas in recent years. This, in turn, is reflected in the current and annual balance sheets for 2017. Things are looking less good for Migros everywhere.
Therefore, as an end consumer, and of course as a young, sporty customer, I would like to share my views with Migros and my movement for a possible sales boost for some products, so that they can achieve more sales with some products than is currently the case.
Take Powerrade, for example. Powerrade is clearly available in almost all retail chains, with the exception of Migros of course (and partly in action at Lidl and Aldi). If I sell factor x 2 of a product and only or hardly any Gatorade... then that's lost sales for me.
Although Migros has already answered me and I understand, there is Alpro milk, for example. (there's a reason why).... Edeka Kaufland Rewe Netto Penny Coop Spar all carry this brand.... why should this well-known brand not be available at Migros?
When I compare the almond milk from Alnatura and that from Alpro... the Alpro version is 20 times better.
On the subject of Harzinger: the product now comes from Germany. And of course it has its properties. A Swiss version is simply not authentic and I wouldn't buy it.
Topic: Protein products: The market is very fast on this topic. And a lot is happening digitally. Many influencers use their influence and power to control the sales channel for proteinwhey products. Only Migros is sticking to its "we only sponsor" strategy. This may sound nice for the 40 or 50 year old, as the product is from Switzerland or Germany. The market clearly shows: Myprotein is a giant here. But other brands such as ON and ESN are also world-famous. Why not introduce such products so that the main target customers (young men) can do their shopping in Migros instead of digitally/powerfood?
There are many issues where Migros is too slow to react. They prefer to stick to the tried and tested instead of trying something new.
I would like to see a more aggressive, attractively priced but also innovative and strong Migros.
