The customer need (and space problem on the shelves) is the standard Migros answer when you ask here in the forum why a product has been removed from the range...
My answer was therefore largely meant ironically/cynically ?
Hello @Nearo, thank you for your contribution. The fact that we source chicken from Brazil is due to both availability and price. There is definitely a need for relatively inexpensive chicken products - unfortunately we cannot satisfy this with Swiss chicken. Independent organizations and our suppliers regularly check the animal welfare regulations in Brazil. Our customers can decide for themselves whether they want to buy a product or not. Bolivia is worse than Brazil (watch report on ntv). And many other countries do not comply with many agreements... Switzerland is also not a role model with its deliveries to war-torn countries...
Unfortunately you're right... It's all a joke, it seems to me as if everyone is constantly emphasizing that they comply with all legal regulations etc., but in reality it looks completely different...
