The plastic tote bags that have replaced the old paper ones at checkouts are very practical. They do, however, have one small flaw. The handles have two different lengths, which is good. But it's not easy to tell which handle to hold in order to have two of the same length.
My suggestion: use different colors for the short handles than for the long ones. It makes it easier to grab your bag!
