Is it possible to make the glue on the fruit compostable?
I have just thrown a melon skin into the compost that had plastic tape on it.
I see no reason at all to stick the fruit with plastic tape.
It's really stupid to have to point this out in 2019. Please take ecological responsibility or remove sustainability from the company concept.

I'll ask if they are compostable in principle. Wasn't it possible to remove this tape before throwing the peel into the compost?
There are various reasons why they have such stickers: for example, organic products must by law remain distinguishable from conventional ones right up to the checkout.

I have just received an answer from a colleague.
The stickers are not biodegradable and therefore have to be disposed of in the household waste. We are currently looking for compostable alternatives for the stickers. The stickers and the glue must also meet the highest standards in terms of compatibility. Therefore, accidental consumption is completely harmless to health.
