I noticed that the Migros own-brand coconut drink and rice drink contain thickeners. I think this is a shame, because the milk is logically slightly thick and I personally don't like the taste. Is there a reason for this thickener?

We've often wondered exactly why thickeners and stabilizers are needed. We've already tested lots of plant-based drinks (not just Migros). We always say: "This milk alternative is slimy". Many manufacturers do this and have the feeling that the milk then tastes better, but for us and some people I know, this is not true either. Conventional milk is not (or no longer) slimy or thick. The organic chocolate-soy drink is also slimy, probably because it wants to imitate "Comella-like" drinks (I've always found them terrible too ;-) I would also leave out these thickeners and stabilizers. There are many in Migros that don't have them, and in my opinion they are all better.

Hello Oichee, the supplier's specialist department will clarify the feasibility from product to product and implement it if technically and/or sensory justifiable. The reduction of additives (E-numbers) is an issue that is always dealt with specifically (for all products). We have already implemented this for individual products. (e.g. aha! Organic Soy Drink Nature (https://produkte.migros.ch/bio-soja-drink-nature-aha) and aha! Soy Drink Calcium (https://produkte.migros.ch/alnatura-sojadrink-kalzium). Best regards, Sina
Hello AnoukMala Thank you for your contribution. I would like to refer you to our reply to Oichee below. Have a nice afternoon. Kind regards, Angela

Why don't you have a plant-based chocolate drink anymore? The "Bio - aha! Soja Drink Choco" was the best plant-based drink in my opinion. Now I have to run to the Coop and buy half as good plant-based chocolate milk.

Hello Wasser9, I was happy to make enquiries with the specialist department. Unfortunately, we don't currently stock a plant-based chocolate drink - this item was not as popular with all our customers as it was with you. We are currently working on the development of an oat-based drink. We hope to have it on the shelves by the end of the year. Best regards, Mia
