I recently bought a mini Panetone for my coffee. Until now, these little things were identical to the big ones. When I opened the packaging and took a bite, I was shocked to discover that the contents had nothing to do with a panetone. It is a meshed, sweet mass that is inedible. I just hope that the big ones are still made according to the traditional recipe. Probably the price spiral has been turned again so that more profit can be made.

To evaluate whether something has gone wrong, I need the lot number. Can you please give me this together with the date? You will find the lot number below or next to the date. It usually begins with anL.

Unfortunately, I've already thrown the packaging in the bin. But as already mentioned, it was all just not panetone. Panetone is one of my favorite sweet pastries, normally an airy mass that can be easily pulled into small pieces by hand, but that was not the case. I bought them in Migros Brugg about 3 weeks ago.

Do you remember which panettone it is? We have several in our range, was it panettone from San Antonio?

It was a small single approx. 150gr. Not the one in the cardboard boxes!
