Dear Migros I was delighted to discover recently that most of Migros' ready-made pastries are now made without palm oil, as I have been completely avoiding products containing palm oil for over 2 years. Unfortunately, I had also bought the previous puff pastry, as it would never have occurred to me that it could contain palm oil. I hope to continue to discover such changes at Migros. Hello Sebastian For me, sustainably produced palm oil is also out of the question. Because as long as palm oil is used in so many products, there will always be too much palm oil that is conventionally produced. And the fact that the new doughs are not made with sustainably produced palm oil, but rapeseed oil, shows me that Migros knows this too. Best regards
I was very pleased to hear this and finally I have the feeling that we consumers are being "heard" by MIGROS. I have moved away from MIGROS more and more over the last few years, but I will now do more of my shopping there again if this trend continues at MIGROS. Cake batter in particular is a product that I buy often and now probably exclusively at MIGROS. I hope that vermicelles without palm oil will be next :-)
