Easter will be Jööh and similar campaigns are a terrible waste of plastic
Ostern wird Jööh und ähnliche Aktionen sind grauenhafte Plastikverschwendung
Dear Migros,
Every time you run the 'Ostern wird Jööh' campaign again, my stomach almost turns. Practically all my daughters' classmates have several of these bunnies, and we have the unpleasant task of explaining to our children why they are not allowed to take part. The second-hand shops in Switzerland are full to the brim with all your bunnies, Nanos, Twistymanias, Storymaniafigürli. Every visit to a Migros restaurant results in people taking home a plastic plate, a plastic beach ball or something similar. I know that many of your customers will think this is great, and it's a cost-effective way to retain young customers - but in 2018, this is completely irresponsible. I don't have a solution ready either, but have you thought about how these actions can be reconciled with your sustainability requirements?
