I think it's a bit inappropriate at the moment. Fruit and vegetables can be washed or cooked, bread can't. You won't find even a small disinfection station anywhere. Bad thing dear Migros

Hello @kapha According to current scientific knowledge, transmission of the pathogen to humans via food is unlikely. Food, including food from open sale, can be consumed without hesitation. The relevant transmission route is from person to person. Therefore, compliance with the FOPH hygiene rules, in particular thorough hand washing, is also sufficient when handling returned goods. The bread that you can buy in our stores is wrapped in paper. Pastries and smaller baked goods are also placed in a box in most stores, which is often wrapped in Plexiglas. We also provide tongs for pastries. So measures are already being taken in this area to increase hygiene. Best regards Filip
