It would be nice if Migros sold lutein-supplemented eggs Eggs containing 1.95mg of lutein each are marketed in some European countries and in the USA. This is achieved by enriching hen feed with lutein.
Lutein is highly beneficial to eye health, and is particularly easily assimilated through egg consumption.

In the meantime, I've had some feedback from the people in charge. The fodder used to feed the hens already contains lutein (supplied via tagetes extract) in small quantities. There are currently no plans to increase this quantity, as the positive effects of lutein on health can also be achieved in other, more effective ways. For example, by taking capsules.
