As you know, the new plastic bags cost 5 centimes, which is basically a good idea.

However, the old plastic bags were perfect because a lot of stuff fitted in and the "handles" didn't cut your hands even when the bag was full--unlike the new ones, where much less fits in and the handles become a thin "string" that cuts your hands.

I claim that I now need 2-3 times as many bags for the same amount!

The new bags are probably an eco-prestige project of the (old?) bags in management and literally garbage.
