Hello Manu8003 Environmental protection is an extremely complex topic with many aspects. For some time now, plastic has become the focus of public attention. It's an important issue where great progress needs to be made worldwide and further plastic pollution avoided. We pay a lot of attention to the packaging of our products and set ourselves ambitious goals for how we can optimize our packaging ecologically and thus better protect the environment. From a purely ecological point of view, it does not usually make sense to dispense with packaging altogether, as it provides the best possible protection for products during transportation and against spoilage. They are therefore not, as is often assumed, pointless "waste", but perform important functions, as we want to avoid unnecessary food waste. To find out what impact our packaging has on the environment, we draw up life cycle assessments. These take into account the effects from the extraction of raw materials to the disposal of the packaging. They show that packaging contributes very little (approx. 2-5%) to the environmental impact over the product life cycle - the greatest impact is caused by the product itself, i.e. the contents of the packaging. It goes without saying that we are very keen to avoid unnecessary waste. We have taken your feedback on board with this in mind and will take it into account for the future. Kind regards, Angela
