Every week there is "new in Migros". It would also be very helpful to introduce a "no longer in Migros" section. How often do you search in vain for a product until you find out it's no longer available..... It's clear that an old product has to make way for all new products. But it would often be nice if something simply stayed for a longer period of time.

Mirgos doesn't go along with that alone, an MM is no longer a newspaper, but rather a brochure that is getting thinner and thinner.
Hi Calanchoe, thank you for your contribution. I understand that it is annoying to search in vain for a valued product. We only communicate article assignments in our M magazine on rare occasions for two reasons. On the one hand, we suspect that our customers would not be sufficiently aware of announcements about article assignments. Secondly, as it would involve disproportionately high costs, we are currently refraining from comprehensive communication about assignment articles. Nevertheless, I would be happy to forward your request to our specialist department. Kind regards, Chloe

Thanks for the answer. The information about removed products could also be posted online every 14 days, for example. Then you can also see how many users are reading it. It's annoying to have to search around in the store and if you then have to bother the staff, it also costs Migros money. It would be worth a try.

Instead of more advertising in the M Magazine, more information that is useful to the customer. Such articles that are taken out of the range are not practiced overnight, but are given enough time to inform customers in the M magazine.

I agree with you! But Migros obviously doesn't want to do this; I find it totally incomprehensible and totally customer-unfriendly; it's not the first time that such or similar suggestions have been made here in the forum... If you don't want to publish it in the Migros magazine for whatever reason, then you could announce it on the website (like the product recalls, for example, which are also published there). It really isn't that complicated. But Migros doesn't want to...

Couldn't you at least leave the products that are no longer available in the online product catalog (at least for a few months) and mark them conspicuously there? Or so that you can choose whether you want to display all products or only those that are available. That way you wouldn't have to know whether the missing product is still available somewhere. You could also still comment directly on the product and ask questions (the "obituaries" for the discontinued product would not be scattered over several "similar" products). This would not incur any major costs and Migros advertisers could advertise any alternatives or successor products for the discontinued product.

Hello folio, your idea is a good one. I have forwarded it to the responsible specialist department. But I can't promise you whether it will be implemented. Kind regards, Sina
