Why doesn't Migros have any special stores?
e.g. M-Budget, or Selection, or Budget&Selection

The fast food store type already exists (take-away), but I don't see the point with Budget or Selection - most people do NOT ONLY buy these products, but a mixed bag.
I could imagine such a separation more for drinks (6-pack) and frozen products, because I always buy these separately, go straight through with the shopping cart and then straight back to the car and then home without wasting much time.

What a funny idea! However, as wef17 says, most people tend to buy their products in a mixed bag. Since there is already good coverage with Migros stores in the cities anyway, I could imagine that many people would go back to the nearest "all-round store". Or what do other Migipedia users think?

In my opinion, such a business would not be economically viable and would never get out of the red, not even in the agglomeration of a larger municipality.
It would be a quick one from the M-budget line, as the expensive infrastructure and square meter prices of the properties would have to be passed on to the products.

I would rather do without the M-Buget cornflakes, the mountain cheese and the Brie than go to another store.

Economically, I can understand your opinion
in the budget example, but not in the selection area.
Let's make a selection store, where the margin is probably very large.
