Hello Berni St, the PET bottles used are labeled with the PET recycling logo. The film used is also made of PET. So you can take them to the PET collection point as usual. Kind regards, Sina
Hello Sina, thank you for your answer. Why is the whole bottle wrapped when it says onhttp://www.design4recycling.org/ that <80% of the bottle surface should actually be covered with film? The film, more likely PE, is probably separated from the pet anyway, but can be recycled. I cannot judge whether this is the case.

Hello BerniSt, no, the film, the so-called sleeve, is made of PET and not PE. It's needed because the iced tea is susceptible to light and needs good insulation. The sleeve also protects the iced tea from light. Best regards, Sina
