And again today a spam post on the entry page (a handbag store)...

To make it less easy for the spammers, you could take some simple measures:
* Post only for registered users
* Introduce a captcha

Okay, that won't be the last word on the idea polls either. It will be more difficult there.

I briefly thought about introducing a bonus-malus system (e.g. minus points on the account if the post has already been mentioned), but that would also have a creative-braking effect. But at least it would discourage multiple copy-paste users and encourage users to read existing posts more carefully before posting. But I haven't thought about possible sanctions yet ;-)

Before saving, the application could also check whether the text already exists in this form. If so: block the post, make a negative note in the user account or then directly reshape the original post as a "like". Then the first idea provider will also be rewarded ;-)

Another idea: Develop new ideas on a shared mind map, in which you can sort them roughly yourself (e.g. according to taste) and perhaps also assign some keywords?
