What a disappointment to discover nestlé products in Migros stores. This company is so far removed from the values and philosophy of G. Dutweiler and Migros. What's more, these products are not good.

Hello Latoune, thank you for your message and we can understand, to a certain extent, that you regret the introduction of branded items in the Migros assortment. However, our customers have many different needs, which we would like to meet as best we can. Any introduction of an external brand always provokes discussion within the company, and we always carefully examine the appropriateness of an addition to our assortment. Expanding the Migros assortment with branded items should remain an exception. After all, we want to maintain our leading position in terms of value for money with our 250 or so own brands. We still produce around 75% of our goods ourselves. As a result, we continue to invest in our industrial facilities, so that we can work with the most modern technology. The Swiss retail sector is currently under great pressure, and Migros has seen its profits fall significantly in recent years. Our aim is to offer our customers good products and to free up the resources we need to make a voluntary commitment to culture and sustainability. We want to remain true to our roots and to the principles of Gottlieb Duttweiler. Best regards, Tabea

Could we have some figures on these lost profits? In any case, your profits soared in 2020, and it was even on the news!

Hello Runpita, we are unable to comment on our sales figures and profits. The sales figures we publish can be found in our annual report. Best regards Sebastian
