However, our customers have many different needs, which we would like to meet as best we can. Any introduction of an external brand always provokes discussion within the company, and we always carefully examine the appropriateness of an addition to our assortment. Expanding the Migros assortment with branded items should remain an exception. After all, we want to maintain our leading position in terms of value for money with our 250 or so own brands. We still produce around 75% of our goods ourselves. As a result, we continue to invest in our industrial facilities, so that we can work with the most modern technology. The Swiss retail sector is currently under great pressure, and Migros has seen its profits fall significantly in recent years. Our aim is to offer our customers good products and to free up the resources we need to make a voluntary commitment to culture and sustainability.
