I think the collection campaign is great! Like Animal Mania, it's child-friendly and has a connection to nature. But on the subject of sustainability: why can't you get stickers at Alnatura? And why aren't the seeds distributed organic?

Hello Chipa You are welcome to collect stickers in all Migros stores (M, MM, MMM, incl. Migros partners, VOI and LeShop) and in the Do it + Garden stores: For every CHF 20 you spend, you will receive a sachet including a collector's sticker, plant sticker and seed packet at the checkout. The offer is limited to a maximum of 15 sachets per purchase and while stocks last. Unfortunately, collecting is not possible at Alnatura. The possibilities of obtaining large quantities of organic seeds in Switzerland and Europe are limited. Migros has therefore decided to supply conventionally grown seeds. Best regards Maria

However, there is still room for improvement in many things that Migros does well. On the subject of sustainability, I am interested in the place of manufacture and/or origin of Migros products. With "Nature Heroes" in particular, I don't think it's exemplary for children if the watering can and garden tools are "made in China" and the wood of the insect hotel comes from New Zealand (according to the FSC label on the wood and the label). As the "wooden tubes" in the insect hotel are made of bamboo, I suspect that this was also made in China. Preaching intact nature and sustainability to our children, but shipping/flying the products around the world to do so is a contradiction in terms.
It's a shame that Migros is also bowing to the pressure on margins and is still sourcing products from low-wage countries such as China that would also be available in Europe and Switzerland. Unfortunately, this also includes Migros foods such as dried beans, dried mushrooms and fresh garlic! The current global crisis would be an opportunity to rethink! Thoughtful greetings, Martin

That's coming.↵ZB Disinfectant, disinfectable face mask, normal face mask. Come on... 🙂↵↵There will certainly be a rethink. But we'll only see how customers behave. ↵

@Traberli I don't think that will happen. Migros is so committed to the customer scaring program it has launched that it would rather let the company go under than finally rethink and act.

Suggestion for next time: only put an organic seed sachet in every fifth letter. We have now disposed of them, as it makes no sense for us not to sow organic seeds. best regards

@Cumulus-Infoline / Maria"Unfortunately, collecting at Alnatura is not possible."Chipa has stated this himself. The question was therefore WHY it is not possible to collect at Alnatura. As I am also interested in this myself, I would like to remind you of this question once again. Because it was not answered.

Hello seahorse11 The possibilities of producing a large quantity of collection elements in Europe or even in Switzerland within a reasonable period of time and selling them to customers at an adequate trade-in price are limited. Based on a risk analysis, Migros checks the manufacturers concerned for compliance with minimum social requirements (in accordance with amfori BSCI). In addition, the collection elements are produced from sustainable raw materials. For example, all wood, cardboard and paper used for the Nature Heroes collection promotion is FSC certified. Best regards Peter

Hi mimu87 Excess seed packets can be handed in to the customer service department at the branches. These will be collected and at the end of the promotion as many of the seeds as possible will be planted. best regards Peter
