Hello, Indeed, as yanos1800 asked (and hasn't had an answer in 3 months...), what about these seeds so generously distributed over a long period of time please...? Whether they are organic, I doubt it, as this was not indicated on the packaging... But are they at least guaranteed non-GMO? Thank you for your clarification. Sincerely
Dear LadyInBlack The possibilities of obtaining organic seeds in larger quantities in Switzerland and Europe are limited. Migros has therefore decided to supply conventionally grown seeds. The seeds have been obtained through normal propagation. This means that plants are induced to flower and then form seeds. These were harvested and cleaned by hand or machine. The country of origin of the seeds depended on the climatic requirements of the plant variety concerned. After harvesting, the only treatment was sieving and mechanical cleaning of the seeds to eliminate weeds, etc. No chemical treatment with fungicides was carried out. No chemical treatment with fungicides or gas was applied, although additives such as fertilizers and pesticides could be used during cultivation or multiplication. Best regards Peter
