Unfortunately, the cat food packaging does not state whether taurine is contained in this food. I would be glad if you could clarify this. Without the necessary amount of taurine in cat food, cats will suffer from deficiency symptoms, including eye problems such as retinal diseases.

Taurine is an essential aminosulfonic acid for cats, which is already contained natively in each of our products via the raw materials. If this native content does not ensure the scientifically required value, we add it to the product accordingly.
If you would like to know the taurine content for a specific product, my colleague has offered to ask the supplier for you.

Hello bjmf, thank you for contacting us. Each recipe is a complex composition of different raw materials to ensure the conditions of a complete feed for the animals. Our feed contains all the necessary nutrients to feed the animals exclusively and for a long time. The Fédération européenne de l`industrie des aliments pour animaux familiers (FEDIAF), in collaboration with internationally recognized animal nutrition experts, defines the conditions that a complete feed must meet. Compliance with these guidelines is checked and confirmed by regular internal laboratory analyses and those carried out by independent external institutes.
Taurine is an essential amino sulphonic acid for cats, which is already contained natively in each of our products via the raw materials.
The scientific recommendations for dry food specify a content of 0.1% taurine based on dry matter. This corresponds to 1000 mg/kg. If the native content does not ensure the scientifically required value, we add it to the product accordingly so that the content is safely covered at all times in accordance with the scientific recommendations.
An additional 0.15 % taurine is added to the wet food. The actual content is slightly higher. This can be explained by the natural fluctuation of the raw materials added in each case.
