Hello I have been using these pads (EAN 7612621801954) every day for years. Suddenly everything has to be NEW - packaging etc. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated massively. The missing hole perforation in the new edition (EAN 7612621804016) causes the pad to slip and dissolve during the course of the day. Why can't the tried and tested be left in the range? Annoying, now I have to look around the Coop for an alternative.

Hello bavaria,
Thank you very much for your feedback.
We understand your anger very well. Here is some background information and a statement on the current situation:
For technical reasons, the supplier is unfortunately no longer able to produce the former Molfina Mini pad (item number 5206.102). This is due to a machine defect. The supplier can no longer procure spare parts as the machine is too old. We therefore had to withdraw the product from the range, contrary to expectations and also unintentionally.
After some delay, the successor product is now available (Molfina Mini pad, new article number 5206.110). Obtaining this alternative was difficult and time-consuming, which is why there were unfortunately delays.
As you have noticed, the Mini pad has a new quality. We would like to point out that the product composition remains the same and therefore also the absorption capacity of the pad. The product also has a very soft surface.
The difference to the previous sanitary napkin is that the new product is slightly longer. In addition, the dots and side embossing have been removed. The new sanitary napkin therefore has a new look that cannot be compared with the previous product.
As far as the composition is concerned: the product is less compressed, which is why the cellulose core "builds up" more during wear. Due to a different manufacturing process, the core is not fixed, which can cause the pillow to shift slightly. However, this should not affect the comfort or performance of the pad.
In addition to the successor product Molfina Mini pad (article number 5206.110), we can also recommend the following alternatives:
Molfina panty liner Bodyform Air (article number 5206.004, CHF 1.90, 36 pieces): Like the Mini pad, this panty liner has a cellulose core and a soft, textured surface fleece. However, the product is lighter than the Mini pad. This product is a panty liner that can only be used as underwear protection. We recommend this panty liner if you have a low need for protection.
Molfina Normal sanitary napkin (article number 5206.103, CHF 2.45, 32 pieces): We recommend this pad for menstrual periods. Like the Mini pad, this product also has a cellulose core and a soft surface fleece. However, it is almost twice as heavy as the Mini pad and therefore offers greater protection. We therefore recommend the Normal sanitary napkin for women with a greater need for protection.
We apologize for the unavoidable change in quality and the inconvenience this has caused. We will of course remain in contact with the supplier in order to develop long-term product improvements.
You are a man... and basically have no practical knowledge or experience of this subject! That's why you have to stick to what you're told. It may be that the new mini sanitary napkin is the same or better in terms of content. But from a technical or practical point of view, it is an absolute disaster and cannot be used. Especially what you call *... the core is not fixed, which can cause the cushion to shift slightly...*... No, it doesn't shift slightly but extremely and not only that, it tears apart! Not great! ???? Unpleasant, useless, ... Besides, if I have to use a mini pad, I can't do much with a panty liner.... And if a mini pad serves me well for what I need it for, I don't want to bother with a normal pad! What a shame, it really was an excellent product before! I will now have to look somewhere else.....
I just wanted to write here what Bavaria and S.F. wrote...these new mini pads are now useless...very sad... I also wonder why so many good old products are repeatedly replaced by bad new ones ???
Best regards

Good day I already wrote an article about the same product a few weeks ago. (Page 2, about 6 weeks ago) Title: NEW quality = WORSE quality?
I agree with the writers above! The new product is absolutely useless. This is what sanitary pads looked like 20 years ago! After years of use, I too have now had to look around. And the fact that "man" has this product in his area of responsibility unfortunately makes little sense here...
Tip to Migros: That predecessor product was a "gap in the market", as it was something between a pad and a panty liner, which is unfortunately hard to find elsewhere. "Man" doesn't know the difference, but "woman" does! Dear Jan, we don't care about compositions if the end result is useless.
So far I have not been able to find an alternative to the MOLFINA MINI BINDING :(. It's a shame that such tried and tested products are simply taken out of the range :-/
I finally understand why and why I can't find the Molfina 36 anywhere! It's incomprehensible, good articles disappear and have to make way for useless ones! Thank goodness I found a replacement for the Molfina 36 at Aldi!
Hello everyone, thank you for your patience. It is disappointing when a frequently used product is no longer available, we understand that very well. We have removed the Molfina Mini pads from our range as demand was too low. We have carefully examined the decision, but unfortunately this adjustment to the range was unavoidable. We ask for your understanding. We would like to offer you an alternative, but at the moment we do not have a suitable mini item in our range - we apologize for this. We have informed the responsible department about your messages. Kind regards, Luisa

What is the name of the replacement? I'm still looking for a good solution.
