Molfina pads with pure absorbent cotton are gone :-(

Molfina Binden mit reiner Watte sind weg :-(

For 30 years I have only used the sanitary pads that are so soft and filled with absorbent cotton. Firstly, I don't like the plastic or paper feel of the others and I also have an allergy to something in the plastic. So of course the cotton pads were a great thing. For 25 years the ones from Migros...
For some time now, these pads seem to have been taken out of the range, because I have been looking for them in various Migros stores for free. The sanitary towels with absorbent cotton have disappeared from the shelves... The fact that they were produced for so long shows that they were quite popular.
At least they are still available at Coop. The adhesive was better with the Molfina pads, but before I use this plastic stuff I'll just get the Sana Jeunesse at the Coop. If the Migros people think I would go to Coop just for the pads and buy the rest at Migros, they are wrong.
If I have to go to the other store for the sanitary towels, I might as well do my weekly shop there. For a family of 5 with dogs, cats and guinea pigs, that adds up to a tidy sum. And I'm sure it's not just me.
It's a shame that the quality has suffered so much recently, I've always been a Migros fan...

Dear giusi2103

Thank you for your message. I will contact the product managers straight away to find out whether the pads have actually been completely removed from the range or were perhaps only temporarily unavailable.

Best regards
Tanja, Migipedia team

Thanks for the link acko.... I was afraid of something like that.
The article is interesting but it just got me a bit
excited.... Where did they get the idea that you have to search because there is too much choice?
You often have to search because the shelves are constantly being rearranged, not because of the selection!
Too bad... but if it's worth it to them.... they have to have it....
But in times when the competition is getting stronger, it's wrong to downgrade... then you've practically already lost the race, haven't you?

Hello giusi2103

I have received the following information from our product manager:
Thank you for your message.

The sanitary napkin is still available in Migros. Unfortunately, there was not enough demand for the Molfina Soft sanitary napkin for it to continue to be stocked in smaller store sizes. The sanitary napkin is therefore only available in very large stores.

If you wish, we can check the availability of the sanitary napkin in your area. All you need to do is tell us which region you shop in.

If it turns out that many customers miss this item, we will consider reintroducing it in smaller store sizes.

Kind regards
Tanja, Migipedia team

Dear Migros, as a midwife I have to say something about cotton pads. It is very necessary to keep this product on offer. This is an important health mission. Women who have recently given birth should not wear practiced sanitary pads and sanitary gel made from petroleum. The risk of infection with "old-fashioned" cotton pads is minimized. So for all the strong new mothers, be sure to keep this product on offer, even in small stores......

Unfortunately, I have not found this bandage in various stores. We live a bit out of the way, the nearest Migros store is more than 20 km away. The next one is about 50-60 km away. I'm not prepared to drive any further if I can get a similar product nearby. Nevertheless, thank you for your efforts.
