Hello, I suspect that perhaps the biggest obstacle to abolishing the Mohrenkopf is not that we are racist, but that the official replacement name Schokokuss is simply impossible for anyone, black, white, man, woman or child, in whatever situation you talk about it (ask for it in the store, offer someone one...).

Only I didn't know them as Mohrenkopf! I bought them at the bakery where it said "Negerkuss", so you can choose which name you want... The Mohrenköpfe were available at our bakery in XXL and were homemade, plus they had a different filling. It was as if they were a completely different version. And no comparison to the others. Like comparing apples with pears...

The fact that the information was intended as a joke (because of the sensitive topic) is out of the question, so I asked myself what all the fuss was about and why are you, ladies and gentlemen of the Cooperative Council, pouring oil on a very explosive fire that can quickly get out of control! Why is the whole world (including the Migros management in Switzerland) reacting to this incident in such an exaggerated, exaggerated and no longer level-headed manner? A person was killed by a police officer who did NOT react in a level-headed, considered manner or in accordance with the situation. The policeman must of course bear the consequences of his actions, whatever the court decides. But that the whole world cries out because of one person who has been wronged, while thousands of people are killed because they are black, because they live in Africa but are white, are persecuted and killed in many countries because they are of a different faith, because they are children and are raped by pedophiles and then killed, and, and, and...........understand that this is nonsense, how you want to show your grief and sympathy to the bereaved, it's simply not true, it's a slap in the face to all those who have experienced the same or worse.......!
