Bullying and self-appointed petty kings at Migros?

Mobbing und selbsternannte Kleinkönige in der Migros?

Dear Migipedians,
I admit that my title is a bit polemical - hopefully many people will read it that way? i have to vent my anger! "it almost blew the lid off!"
(in retrospect: it would have been better if I had NOT controlled myself!)

in general: there are many friendly, committed, helpful and very consumer-oriented employees at migros - and yet, in my opinion, what goes on in some branches in berne is really not correct! not fair and not good for nature or the balance sheet!

so, displeasure no. 1 (remember, it's saturday ;-)):
what do all stores do just before closing time? right, were reducing with today's sell by date. now it seems not everyone handles this the same way. yesterday i was in the store in question and asked for the mung bean sprouts. problem: the sell by date was the day before, ergo this product could be sold - not even at half price. then today i was in the same store again and wanted to buy the same product again. i asked if the product - since it was 16.45 and there were still several packs left - would be reduced to half price. the employee asked a colleague. no, the product would not be reduced because we still had the day of today. then i told the saleswoman that there was another pack that could have been sold yesterday. she took this pack and went back to the colleague: you can have this one at half price.
hello ???? are you okay? *certainty* what's crazy is that i've experienced exactly the same situation before - and then at the last minute i was able to persuade the saleswoman to give me the half-price sticker because there were still a lot (!!) of packs left and it was almost 5 pm. i admit that i like to buy bargains and that's why i stop by the mung bean sprouts (one of my favorite products ;-)) ...it has happened several times in this very store that some packs of the named product with the passée date were still in the display. that makes you think "bullying"?
i have already written 2 letters to the store manager... never received a response. what a shame!
of course there's a loss if you only take half the price. but if you throw it away, you don't get anything, zero francs, and nature gets it even worse!
I hope I've made myself clear...

and trouble no. 2:
this week my milk frother started to rebel - somehow there was an overheating and consequently a short circuit and the part stopped frothing. here on migipedia i asked if this product had a warranty and how long it was. the answer i got was 2 years. i bought my milk frother in april 2012, ergo warranty = ok.
before i got the answer, i had already been to migros (different branch this time). there i did not get the device refunded. so i bought a new one and disposed of the old one. then the next day i got the answer here. today i went to the branch in question to inform the employee that the milk frother would have been under warranty for 2 years after all and that she should/could have replaced the milk frother for me.
she said that they were only students at migros-infoline, who had no idea anyway, and that i should have presented a warranty certificate (note: she hadn't mentioned this the day before). i told her that the receipt worked as a warranty certificate and that i no longer had it, just as i no longer had the device. she said that if i had come straight away with the device and the receipt, i would have got a new one. in the meantime, i had already disposed of it. hello??? ooooje, sigh.

do you also have experiences like this? or does it have something to do with me?

I'm looking forward to your reactions. thanks!
:-)
