Mirin - basic ingredient of teryaki and various Japanese recipes

You used to have mirin in your range. However, the essential "spice" or rice liqueur product is no longer available. That's annoying, as I cook a lot of Japanese food and you are otherwise quite well equipped in terms of sushi and co.
Are there any reasons why you have removed mirin from your range?
Is it because it contains alcohol? It's not a drink though...
