The kettle is a faulty design. It works well, but pouring out water without flooding is not possible. Instead of pouring through the spout, the water runs out to the left and right. Wouldn't be so tragic - unfortunately it's boiling water. Has the product manager not tried this? Probably not, it's not worth it at just under CHF 30.

I have discussed your case with the product manager. Could it be that your spout strainer needs to be descaled again? Perhaps this is the cause of the problem. If the strainer is calcified, the water can no longer flow properly and can leak out of the side.
It's definitely worth a try. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and hope that you will soon be able to use the kettle again without any problems.
