The Christmas movie is cute, but the portrayal of Mimi does not correspond to reality, which I think is a pity, one should not serve up untruths to the children!!! Owls are usually the same size as their parents when they fledge, but they still have a small part of the child's feathers!!! Wouldn't it be more realistic if it had been shown true to life?

Although she is modeled on the tawny owl, which is native to Switzerland, we have changed her anatomy slightly for the story. She is slightly smaller and chubbier than in the wild and has several facial expressions. Mimi's parents, on the other hand, are real owls, which are native to Lithuania. These specimens were trained for film purposes and have already grown up in captivity. Of course, we took precautions on set, animal trainers were present and we also made sure that the animals felt completely at ease. Best regards, Richi

And yet another totally meaningless answer. Anyone who reads Migros magazine knows that!!! Again, they don't address the core message at all!!! Of course the owl is animated, because it can't exist in this form in nature!!! You should think better about what you answer, you always feel that you are not being taken seriously when you reply.
