Hello everyone
I wish that milk could be bought in the same portions as coffee cream.
We drink little to no milk, but prefer to have milk in our coffee instead of coffee cream.
We often have to dispose of milk cartons that have been open too long.
In small portions, this would always be exactly the right amount and freshly opened for every coffee.
Is it just us? :-)

Thanks for the suggestion, which I am happy to pass on. It is quite possible that this is a broader need. However, there are already relatively small milk cartons; if you want to produce them even smaller, another consideration comes into play: Is so much packaging material really necessary?

You also produce the 12g portions for the coffee cream. Instead of cream, you could use UHT M-Drink with 2.5% fat content.
If the packaging is worthwhile for coffee cream, why not also for milk that is intended for coffee? Whether cream or milk is poured in should not really matter. And the M-Drink design can be used as the lid design.

The idea has been tested and calculated several times, but unfortunately it would not be profitable.
In addition, it is unfortunately not technically possible to run the milk through the coffee cream portioning machine for a short time. The machine could theoretically be retrofitted, but these costs would hardly be covered due to the very low demand and would therefore make the product much more expensive.
As @Bodenseeknusperli has already mentioned, we have a small 250ml pack in our range.the issue of resealability for these small packs is regularly examined, but there is currently no concrete project underway.this also raises the question of whether it makes sense. The 250ml packaging and the milk in it are UHT and therefore have a relatively long shelf life even when opened.

If you want to keep the milk from quarter-liter packs in a resealable container, it is best to pour it into a glass bottle yourself. Glass bottles that previously contained fruit juice are particularly suitable, as they can be cleaned in the dishwasher without any problems thanks to the larger opening.
