Many years ago, there was an annual public walk in Suhr AG, starting from the distribution center of the then Migrosgenossenschaft Aargau / Solothurn.
This was the Gottlieb Duttweiler memorial march.
Children always received a badge, the children's medal, for taking part.
I was still a child at the time, but it was always a special Sunday for the whole family.
One year after the death of Gottlieb Duttweiler's wife Adele, the walk was called the Adele Duttweiler Memorial March.
This traditional event then disappeared forever.
At the time, this was Migros' commitment to health and the homeland.
You could say it was Generation M even back then.
Couldn't this event be reintroduced?
It's not just advertising for Migros, but certainly in the spirit of Generation M. For health, home and family.
