I would be interested to know where the CROSSWAVE own-brand bikes come from. CORONADO bikes used to come from Switzerland, but now CROSSWAVE is only ever referred to as an "imported product". Where do they come from?

Only the inexpensive entry-level bikes, especially in the kids' segment, are produced in China. We place extremely high demands on our bikes in terms of safety and durability. I suspected that the bikes come from China. I had at least hoped that they might come from Taiwan (where a large part of the bicycle industry is based), where good quality goods come from and working conditions and environmental protection play a more important role. But the few extra francs were probably too much for Migros.
But what bothers me most is that I can't find any indication of where my bike comes from when I buy it. I think the customer has a right to know where a product comes from before he buys it. The fact that Migros then tries to disguise this and only comes out with the truth when asked several times leaves a bad taste in the mouth. This also applies to other products.
