Hello Sabla, Migros Aare has now been in existence for 20 years. The market is changing rapidly and customer needs are changing faster and faster. Although the sales trend is still positive, profitability has been declining in recent years. It is therefore time to examine the company and decide what we want to continue doing the same and what we want to do differently in the future. For example, we are investigating whether and how processes can be optimized in all our areas and where there is potential for cost savings. The challenge is to continue to be successful in our existing core business while at the same time developing new, sustainable business models that will generate new sales for Migros Aare and thus secure jobs in the future. All personnel decisions are always made in line with the strategy and the future orientation of Migros Aare. In order to be prepared for the future, some jobs are changing, while others are being created. This is also an opportunity for our employees to develop and play an active role in shaping the future of Migros Aare. As with all personnel measures, Migros Aare is taking a highly socially responsible approach to the employees affected. The voluntary social plan drawn up with our social partners forms the framework for this. In the event of a separation, we ensure that employees receive support and individual advice from the Mobility Center.
