Migros sells measuring cups with a dent. In the hope that customers won't notice?

Migros verkauft Messbecher mit Beule. Mit der Hoffnung, dass Kunden dies nicht bemerken?

I think it's great that Migros has metal measuring cups in its range. I like them much better than the plastic ones. But it's unfair for Migros to sell slightly damaged material to customers at full price. In the hope that customers won't notice?

Today I bought 2 pieces at MMM W'thur Neuwiesen. The piece costs Fr. 16.

Luckily I noticed before paying that one piece had a small dent on the underside. I asked the cashier if there would be a reduction because of the dent? The cashier told me that I should ask an employee. As a Migros employee was restocking the shelves, I asked her if there was a discount on the measuring cup with the dent? She said no. So I gave her the slightly damaged measuring cup so that she could sort it out and took a new undamaged one. The Migros employee put the damaged measuring cup back on the shelf as normal. I told her that it would be unfair if this measuring cup was sold on to customers at full price? She just said that the measuring jugs were already cheap enough and it didn't matter. I think that even if it's only a small dent that you can't see at first glance, it's unfair for Migros to sell slightly damaged material to customers at full price.
