Not the smallest Migros branch in Zurich (Fluntern is smaller and, above all, narrower) and yet: no shopping carts, not even the small baskets with wheels to pull. No, only small baskets! I always have to put the first full one on the floor near the checkout (very hygienic for the bread, for example). Very customer-unfriendly, I've never seen it like this anywhere else.

My colleagues at Genossenschaft Zürich have news for us. There are shopping carts in the Schaffhauserplatz store. These can be found at the store entrance on the right. There are about 10-20 of them. Unfortunately, they are often overlooked when you are already in the store.
However, as we have a lot of customers who do their shopping briefly in our store (public transport customers), we need more shopping baskets than shopping carts. It's true that we don't have any baskets with wheels (like at the Airport / City), this is due to a lack of space. However, there are approx. 250 - 350 orange shopping baskets available.
At the attended checkouts, there are basket storage areas in front of the conveyor belt (you do not have to place your basket on the floor) and the Subito checkouts also have a small storage area (to the right of the checkout).
