A few weeks ago, take-away was discontinued at Migros Sarnen. Part of the previous take-away range (e.g. chicken) can now be found at the restaurant buffet. Part of the buffet space was sacrificed for this. Since then, the range of vegetarian dishes has become much smaller. I think this is a great pity and not in keeping with the times.
Dear Daliah2000. Thank you for your suggestion and patience. By popular request, we have enlarged the dining area in the Migros Restaurant Sarnen and closed the take-away as a consequence. As you have correctly noted, individual products are now integrated into the 3rd buffet in the restaurant. However, we offer a veg menu every day. In addition, the starch side dishes and vegetables from all menus can also be ordered as 100 gram variants. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a pure veggie buffet in Sarnen due to the small serving area. In response to customer feedback, we had to find a mixed form. The same applies to the fish buffet on Fridays, for example. We do our best to meet all our customers' wishes and hope that you will still find enough variety in our restaurant. Best regards, Tamara

Dear Tamara Thank you very much for your detailed reply. Enlarging the dining area certainly made sense, as the restaurant is always busy at lunchtime. Today the buffet was really good, including a delicious lentil dish. I am otherwise very satisfied with the food at the Migros restaurant in Sarnen. Best regards Daliah2000
