I would like to connect my Mania Box to my iPod to listen to music out loud. Why does this not work? How can I connect the box to my iPod, with which cable? Can anyone help?

Are you using original cables? If not, this could be the cause because of the pin assignment
No, no original cables. I tried to connect with a USB jack cable. But it doesn't work. But if I plug a PC speaker box in between, I can listen via the speaker box (with the Mania box switched off!). Now we didn't want to take another speaker box with us on vacation (even more luggage). That's why I'm looking for a direct solution. Where can I get original cables? And original cables from Apple or Mania Box?

The easiest way is to connect the audio box to your cell phone via Bluetooth. The connection with the cable may not work depending on the manufacturer of the cell phone and other factors.

My iPod doesn't have Bluetooth...and I don't have any music or audio books on my cell phone. I just use my iPod for that. And I don't want to give my child my cell phone all the time so that he can listen to music or audio books...is there no other way? Which cable can I use to connect the box to my iPod? Is there really no solution to my problem?

The speaker was not designed for such use. It was only ever intended to be used as a loudspeaker for Blootooth. Unfortunately, we can't help you with that.
