I've been going to different fitness centers for years. Last year I bought the Intercity subscription at Migros Fitnesspark St. Gallen and I was able to go to the gym at many different fitness locations throughout Switzerland, which is really great.
For those who don't know the system: When I take out a subscription, I receive the Intercity card, which gives me access to all Migros fitness centers. In St. Gallen (where I took out the pass) I HAVE to buy a chip for 40, although I never need it, as I can get in with the Intercity card anyway. After asking several times, the staff couldn't give me an answer as to why I now have to buy a chip that I don't need at all.
Can anyone here give me an answer? I don't understand why I still have to buy the chip. I am already paying 1420.00 Swiss francs for the travelcard.
