Why has the Migros strawberry drink been taken out of the range? I like drinking it, but the Emmi drink has recently appeared on the shelves. Does anyone know anything about this? Product: https://produkte.migros.ch/energy-drink-erdbeer-204506100000

Here is a picture of the old product https://ch.openfoodfacts.org/produkt/7613269384397/energy-drink-erdbeere-migros
The Emmi Energy Milk High Portein Strawberry Drink (https://produkte.migros.ch/emmi-energy-milk-high-protein-erdb) has been available in Migros for some time now... The Strawberry Energy Drink (https://produkte.migros.ch/energy-drink-erdbeer-204506100000) is still available according to the homepage. Have you looked under store search? Maybe it's only still available in larger Migros branches.

No, this is the new one from Emmi. Before that there was a separate production from Migros, see the picture I posted. It is not the same product.

Then they must have replaced it with Emmi's...
Hello eliaselias-123, thank you for your question. We have effectively replaced the Migros strawberry drink with the Emmi variant. However, only the packaging has been changed. The recipe has remained the same. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Another piece of Migros DNA is disappearing. One from the time when Migros copied brands (see cheeky even) and offered them cheaper. And that's why people went to Migros, my Migros. Now they're usually almost the same price, the customer thinks "I'll take the original at that price", and goodbye Migros' own products and recognizability. Emmi Energy is available everywhere and at every kiosk. Well.
...this week's new products include Sagrotan sanitizer, even if I'll never buy it and whoever does it shouldn't be surprised that children are becoming allergic to more and more things earlier and earlier, and I think it shows very clearly that Migros is moving further and further away from us "old" customers.

The strawberry drink has always been produced by Emmi. Just like the rice pudding from Migros... now it just says the producer on it... opening a barrel for nothing...

That's correct (I've since been able to ask a colleague who still has an "old" drink like this in his fridge); the "old" drink was produced by Emmi (I think DJ Bobo even advertised it at the time), just like the new one. Only the packaging has been changed and now it simply has the Emmi logo on the front...
Well, you're being investigative again, you even asked a colleague oha, great. But you didn't have to because what you both said was known because of the CH number on the product. But Migros also mentioned it a few posts earlier: the packaging doesn't change the contents. Oh and a bit about the price but psssst😉 But it's also about the price, what do you think? As you both actually read over in my post.that was denounced Sorry I was not clear enough. I'll make it short: Migros copy version cheaper. original more expensive. that's the difference😉 @Coacoa200 yes for some 50 centimes is a barrel to open, I'm very happy you don't have to look at centimes, constantly small amounts add up at the end of the month. So yes, it's about the DNA of Migros, and for some working poor it's about whether you can still buy the product.
Asking colleagues was easier than searching for the producer with the CH number on the product ;-) I completely agree with you. It's always the same everywhere: New packaging and suddenly the product is more expensive (either the same amount of content but the price goes up; or less content and the same price)... And the consumers are once again the stupid ones. I still buy the strawberry-flavored milk drink for CHF 0.55 (https://www.codecheck.info/essen/milch_milchprodukte/milch_mischgetraenke_shakes/ean_7613269891215/id_51741606/M_Classic_Milk_Drink_250ml.pro; unfortunately I can't find it on the Migros website, hence this link) whenever I fancy strawberry-flavored milk. It's still a Migros own-brand product ;-)
Off topic but if you want to do this because of the search if you are interested in a product, simply search for the CH + number stamp (are on all dairy products) and enter it here. https://ch.openfoodfacts.org/produzenten-code/ch-2406 I took Emmi number as an example, it will also show some recorded products e.g. Coop prix garantie magerquark, Emmi Caffe latte, Cooo Choco Drink ect ect is practical. Btw Volg family price yogurt 500g are also Emmi :)
You are great, thank you very much! I will definitely do that ;-)
