Today's shopping bags are no longer what they used to be. Picture 1: Quality leaves a lot to be desired, approx. 3 years old. Picture 2: Approx. 10 years old and still in top condition.

Almost all retailers use them this way... I used to find them too thick, but now they are just about on the edge... But the important thing is that they are reusable. 3 years is already very good, isn't it?
Hello TomyEgli, thank you very much for your contribution and the attached photos. I am sorry that you are no longer satisfied with the quality of the bags. After examining the pictures, I understand why. The clarifications with the specialist department showed that we did not make any changes. In view of these results, we cannot explain the cause of the tearing. As an immediate measure, we are continuing to monitor the issue closely. If we identify a specific trigger, we will make the necessary adjustments immediately. I hope our approach is to your liking. Kind regards, Tabea

Dear Tabea I don't want to offend anyone here, but EVERYONE can see that the two bags are made of different material. The straps and the bag itself. The specialist department really can't say that there have been no changes here... I also have old bags like the one on the right in the picture at home and also new ones. It is undoubtedly clear that two different materials were used in production. The newer bag on the left is made of a softer material. The old bag on the right was made of a much stronger material and was therefore probably more robust. I don't want to accuse anyone here of lying or bullshitting, but come on... You don't have to be a specialist to see the difference... 😫 By the way to TomyEgli: For my part, I only use the jute bag from Coop or the new and roomy fabric bag from Migros. Both are extremely durable and highly recommended!
I still have a copy of both bags and they really are two different bags/materials. I don't know why Migros can claim that there have been no changes? Although it is even visually visible. And not to mention the feel... It's not the same bag.

Hello Yoliboli, thank you for asking! I was happy to contact our specialist department again. It turned out that they had made a mistake with the models. We haven't had the bag with the tulips for about 10 years. For reasons of sustainability, we decided to switch to a recycled material. However, this should not affect the tear resistance. Those responsible are currently checking the quality and will make adjustments if necessary. Kind regards, Tabea
