Migros App shopping list
Migros App Einkaufsliste

Guest
I recently wanted to create a shopping list and add a butternut squash to the list. Firstly, I missed the product that is available to buy in the store in the app's product catalog and secondly, I couldn't figure out how to add individual products to the shopping list.
Have I overlooked a function or is it not possible to do this in the Migros app?

So I can write products individually on the shopping list (Android) - but when I click on it, no single image appears (even if there is an item), but a selection.
If I enter pumpkin, a selection appears again and I can, for example, cut pumpkin and select this and then this term is displayed (which of course does not correspond to your wish) - so yes, not all available products are entered.
But then you would have to select the store from this list first, because not every store has the complete range.
But what I would rather welcome is a transfer of the articles listed on the cell phone under Profile (own Cumulus no.) to the Migros hand scanner (I log in at the scanner output with my own Cumulus no.) I can also activate coupons, Cumulus vouchers and stamp cards in the app while shopping - so why not also on the hand scanner while shopping...
The biggest advantage would be that I wouldn't have to navigate on my cell phone with my left hand and operate the hand scanner with my right hand, even if I can put it in the holder when I pick up the product.... Logically, the system would then have to somehow logically transfer the listed products and the scanned items (price, color, etc.)
In this case, the cell phone (or the tablet.... the PC ) would only be used to compile the list (what do I absolutely need...) and it would also be possible to make spontaneous purchases....
I am skeptical about shopping exclusively with ONE M app and only with my OWN cell phone, when I think of the Passabene app from Coop, where the whole thing often crashes during the payment process even with powerful cell phones and all items then have to be scanned again....
The use of hardware provided by the point of sale is more likely to guarantee the reliability of a sales system and is also more certain that it cannot be manipulated.
Hello everyone
You are right that not all products can be found in the app. We are working on it. :)
However, it is possible to add a product to the shopping list manually in both versions. The iPhone simply requires one more step than Android.
@longboard: If you are in the shopping list and click on the plus sign at the top right, the different product areas appear. Above it is "Add product". If you now enter a product in this field (for example pumpkin as @wef17 mentioned), the text under this field will appear again. On Android, you click on the product name and the product is added to the list. However, this is not under the Vegetables category but under Other, as the app cannot assign the item to a group. On the iPhone, you have to click on the text and a green tick appears behind it. Then you have to click on "Done" at the top right. Only then will the item be added to the shopping list, also under "Other", as is the case with the Android version. Give it a try and please get in touch via our contact form(https://www.migros.ch/de/kontakt/kontakt-infoline.html) if it doesn't work. We will then clarify with our specialists what the reason could be in your case.
@wef17: Thank you for your interesting suggestions. We have gladly passed them on to our developers ;-)
