I discovered the frozen mashed potato: http://www.migipedia.ch/de/lebensmittel/tiefkuehlkost/kartoffel/beilagen/delicious-kartoffelstock, which is easy to portion. The packaging is resealable. I can't say whether it would work, because I cut it off by mistake the first time.

The fact that there are more and more 1-person households is a demographic development that suppliers will be responding to more and more in the near future. The product ranges are gradually being adapted with packaging that is suitable for 1-person households. I think it's like with vegans, coeliacs etc.: It will still take a while before their needs can be met everywhere, but the progress cannot be overlooked.

Mifloc is available in 2 sizes...and a large pack is only enough for 2 people anyway :D
In general, most packaging and portions are too large for 1-person households. What should I do with 4 organic bananas? They soon become mushy and mealy and therefore only half edible. What should I do with 2 sausages? There's no indication as to whether you can freeze them. It goes without saying that I can't benefit from too many promotions with mega packs.
I hope that Migros, as a supplier, will respond to the needs of individuals as soon as possible, not in 20 years' time.
