Hello asips, thank you for your inquiry. We have no influence on the retail prices for any pack size. The prices are set by the retailers. The larger packs are offered by retailers at a higher price than the standard pack (250 g) - in relation to the quantity of goods to price ratio - as we can only sell the large packs to retailers at such a proportionally higher price. The price difference in our selling prices to retailers is due to the significantly higher production costs of the 400 g quantity. For these special offers, it is necessary to use special frame packaging in order to achieve the necessary stability. The packaging costs are therefore considerably higher and the large packs are only produced in considerably smaller quantities than the standard variants. Both aspects significantly increase production costs. Kind regards, Tabea

@M-Infoline Tabea From the wording, I have the impression that the text does not come from Migros, but from the manufacturer of the Merci chocolate - or from the middleman. If this is the case, it would be very welcome if a clear source were given in such cases, otherwise there would be confusion. In the past, M-Infoline and Migipedia have already given assurances that they want to improve in this respect - unfortunately, we have not noticed any improvement so far.
Hello Charly, I don't think this is 'ripping off customers', the price per kg or 100gr is indicated. There are other products where the large pack is proportionally more expensive. LG
