I have already experienced a confusing and tedious situation several times when I ordered something online from Melectronics with "pick up and pay in store" and wanted to use bonus coupons for multiple cumulus:
I could not have the bonus coupons redeemed when paying, the cashier said the order was not from the store. I didn't want to pay online when I placed the order and therefore hadn't redeemed any coupons.
The solution was for the store to credit me points manually "out of goodwill". Otherwise I would have canceled the online order and bought the device that was in the store as a result of my order.
For me, it would be logical that bonus coupons (and any multiple points such as the double points every Thursday) are valid where and when you pay.
The current regulation is unclear and cumbersome for customers and store staff. And if the customer pays too little attention to this, they miss out on valuable points.

Sorry to butt in here, but I don't think the Cumulus hotline is the right place to contact. Rather, you should contact the relevant Melectronics store and ask them why the vouchers are not being accepted for online orders that are to be collected in store. After all, vouchers are only taken into account at the time of payment - if you (like eventus) only pay for the online order when you pick it up in the store, the vouchers must of course also be accepted there (unless they are vouchers from another M cooperative).

Even if you select "Store pickup" when purchasing in the Melectronics store, you can still redeem discount coupons (e.g. double coupons etc.). However, the coupons must be selected in the first order step - this is no longer possible at check-out.
This is also stated in the Melectronics FAQs:
Can I also redeem digital coupons when placing an order in a specialist store?
Activated digital coupons for an order in specialist stores are also redeemed automatically. In this case, the digital coupon is not immediately invalidated so that you can still use the coupon for other purchases that you pay for at the checkout. In the event of a canceled order, your discount coupon will of course be released and you can redeem it again.

Thanks for the explanation. However, I still find the regulation somewhat illogical and not intuitive to understand. It may also be that some time passes between ordering and receiving the goods. When I ordered the iPhone, for example, I didn't even have the bonus coupon that I wanted to redeem when I received and paid for the iPhone in the store.
Conclusion: If you read through the terms and conditions and FAQ and think carefully, you will find the way to your points. Otherwise you can miss out on a lot of points if you combine online and in-store.
