Some time ago we had M-Budget Eiernüdeli, thin noodles. They were a favorite side dish in our pasta family. Why were they taken out of the range?

Dear abrandes!
You hear there was a lack of demand... Well, that's probably not the whole truth. I would like Jrene-Migros to confirm that these pastries were not placed at eye level, but in the last place, so to speak - at foot level. You can't make sales with products placed like this!
Here's a tip if you are looking for a cheap purchase. I buy pasta directly from the Bschüssig factory store in Frauenfeld. That, dear abrandes, is the purest savings paradise!!!

Hi willitell
M-Budget products are generally not placed in the most prominent positions and yet many of them are still in the range. The reason for the low demand is more likely to have been the price, which is a key criterion for M-Budget products. M-Budget water pasta is much cheaper and was preferred to egg pasta. Best regards, Jrene
@wilitell,
Everyday products such as bread, sugar and flour are placed on the lower shelves, as people have to buy them anyway due to their daily needs. Expensive items of a certain type are placed at eye level and inexpensive products of the same type are placed at knee height, because customers in a hurry are more likely to overlook them.
Thank you for the various pieces of information. The M-Classic egg pasta only has wider noodles. The price alone cannot have been the reason why this variety was apparently not so successful, as they were always cheaper than the M-Classic. Of course, egg pasta is more expensive than others, but the current M-Budget range also includes pasta with and without eggs. Interestingly, Hörnli and Spiräleli with eggs were introduced around the same time as the "Eiernüdeli" disappeared... These varieties are still available, although very often the eggless version is sold out and the shelf is full of the egg version. As far as I'm concerned, the more expensive egg version shouldn't even exist, M-Budget is supposed to be cheap. If you want egg pasta, you can buy M-Classic. With the "Eiernüdeli", I wasn't interested in the eggs, but in the shape of the pasta.
