I have been buying the "pet food tubs", i.e. frozen fresh meat in tubs, for 8 years. Most recently for CHF 4.20 / 900gr.
As I own a Great Dane, my, or rather my dog's consumption is quite high.
Now suddenly I can no longer find the product. In some stores the price notice on the relevant section has already been removed (e.g. Migros Bethlehem), in others (e.g. Westside) it is still there. However, the replacement product in the bag now costs CHF 4.80 / 500gr. with the same composition.
Has the cup product been abolished? I find almost CHF 10.-/kg for slaughterhouse waste to be quite stable.
