Dear Migros team, at the beginning of the year there was an incredible shortage of protective masks. When I went into Jumbo today for a change (otherwise a fan of Migros do it+ garden...) I saw that they are now offering Swiss-made masks in packs of 50. Will Migros also be launching a Swiss product soon? It would be a great pity if we as a society remain dependent on foreign countries in the future.
Thank you for your inquiry. We would like to sell more masks from Switzerland or Europe. Unfortunately, only a few companies in Switzerland can produce certified hygiene masks. We are currently examining such an offer, but the prices are significantly higher, so we would have to increase the current sales price of 15.90 francs. Hi :) I also think it's very important and good to boost your own production and not import from other countries (at least not that much). I am one of the few who is willing to pay the money. However, I know very well that the masses don't think that way and prefer to go for the cheaper option. Whether this will change at some point is anyone's guess, I can only hope. Good evening, I don't think it's a bad idea to import from abroad. But the price has to be right and Migros could offer the masks at a lower price. We also make masks in Macedonia and the prices are a lot cheaper there. Can you also send Migros an offer? Kind regards L. Dauti
